Campbell Hausfeld PW182501AV Electric Pressure Washer

A pressure washer can serve for multiple purposes around the house. In fact, every decent home owner needs to have a power washer for their household needs.

So, I bought a Campbell Hausfield pressure washer, the PW182501AV model, that works great for the price I paid. It has numerous features and attachments that are ergonometric in nature and has yet to let me down.

I would rate this product 4 out 5 for its usability as it is easy to use and works amazingly well.

After a lot of research through the internet I found Campbell Hausfeld as a reliable company offering exciting range of household products. Campbell offers both air and pressure related tools for residential and business purposes.

The Campbell Hausfeld PW182501AV electric pressure washer comes with a GFCI plug for shock protection and operates on a common household electric supply.

I found this washer very useful on a long run and so decided to share my views through this Campbell Hausfeld Pressure Washer Review.

About the PW182501AV

To be specific I purchased a Campbell PW182501AV model that is in the mid-range of the pressure washers offered by Campbell. Campbell Hausfeld Pressure Washer Review

After reading the specs I found that this model uses the same amount of power as that of the smaller models.

The basic setup of the pressure washer involves two connections, one to a garden hose water supply and other to a power outlet for the electrical input.

I ordered the product directly through internet from Amazon. I received the package within a week and was excited to about its working.

The shipped package contained a 20 foot pressure hose, 35 foot electric cord, detergent cup, instruction manual, and a cleaning tool. The washer comes included with a hook for hanging the hose on the wall and a clip that firmly holds the lance intact while functioning.

Performance

For my first use I read the manual and followed the instructions carefully. The manual is easy to read and understand.

I first connected the washer to the water hose. A coupling is provided in the package for this attachment. But I found it useless as my garden hose had a different configuration.

So I had to stop by a hardware store to buy a new coupling that is compatible with my garden hose connection. Again proper selection of coupling is necessary. At that time I did not have the proper knowledge about this.

But thankfully the hardware store keeper introduced me with a brass coupling that stays intact with the washer. There are other types of couplings available which are made out of plastics.

But there can be leakage and water dripping problems if connection between the hose and washer is not a whole.

If necessary you can also add a plastic filter inside the hose to keep the washer clean from the debris pumped through the water.

Pros

This ends the setup, now for the actual working I plugged in the GFCI plug into the outlet and turned the switch on. The PW182501AV now turned on and when you pull the trigger provided on the fan lance the pressure builds to 1900 PSI.

The washer is also provided with nozzle adjustment through which pressure washer can be adjusted between fan and pin point spray.Campbell Hausfeld PW182501AV electric pressure washer review

The pressure washer has dual capabilities; it can strip paint off the metal poles and wood sidings but on the other hand has a finesse to clean the car exteriors with mild detergents.

Cons

The cons I found about this power washer is that, it is provided with 20 foot hose that doesn’t conveniently provide reach for entire car wash.

Also hose is stiff and not very flexible.

As a homeowner I use this product for 3 hours a week for chores on siding, fence, and patio. Also am using the pressure washer for cleaning my cars.

Overall am happy the way it works even though I had to do some slight tweaks in the beginning.

When doing a Campbell Hausfeld Pressure Washer review I would have to say that it is one of the better models that I have used.

I would give it a 8/10 overall for my pressure washer reviews.
